Since Angle swept by the minute hand in 60 minutes=360°
So, Angle swept by the minute hand in 1 minutes=360°/60
So, Angle swept by the minute hand in 5 minutes=(360°/60)×5
=6°×5
=30°
The area swept by the minute hand=πr²θ/360°
=(22/7)×(14)²×30°/360°
=22×14×14/7×12
=22×2×14/12
=22×7/3
=(154/3) cm²
